Accessibility 2025: Compliance, Challenges and Opportunities

During the welcome and introductionWe will discover the importance of accessibility today and the legislative changes that are coming in 2025, which will be given by Silvia Barrocal, Strategy & Value Director at NATEEVO.

We will get into the subject with the lecture "Living accessibility" of Alejandro de Miguel, Blind Golf World Champion our special guest, who will be interviewed by Pablo de Echanove, Business Director at NATEEVO with whom we will empathize on the difficulties that blind people face in their daily lives in the online world and reflect on the need to adapt digital platforms for better inclusion.

Subsequently, we will discuss Inclusive Technology: New Laws, Tools and Challenges with Antonio Lendínez, Global Head of Experience Design at NATEEVO where we will analyze what impacts will have the new European regulation that comes into force in June 2025 and which AI-based accelerator tools help us to detect possible errors and accessibility issues that affect the user experience. We will continue with this approach in the Sonia Martínez Becerra, UI Development Lead at VASS to explore how we should approach the design and creation of accessible digital products and services that comply with mandatory regulations, avoid errors and improve
accessibility in an effective manner.

And to close with a flourish, a round table discussion with accessibility experts where Pablo de Echanove, Business Director at NATEEVO will act as moderator to guide a discussion between José Luis Velázquez, Accessibility Expert and Creative Tech Manager at BBVA, María Rosa Santiso, Accessibility Expert and UX/UI Designer at NATEEVO y Alejandro de Miguel, Blind Golf World Champion with a round of questions where we will talk from 3 perspectives: customer, company and technical level, how the implementation of accessibility looks like in a real success case.
