Today we officially present Ikigiithe app developed by VASS for Towerbank, the Panamanian bank that promises to change everything.
This project not only represents a significant technological breakthrough, but also symbolizes a new way of understanding banking: freer, more connected, more aligned with the expectations of the modern user. Ikigii offers an unprecedented proposal at a global level: a single account that integrates dollars and cryptocurrencies, in a single app, with the agility of the crypto environment and the confidence of a solid financial institution.
Challenge Leading the integration between traditional banking and the crypto ecosystem.
In a context of accelerated transformation of the global financial system, Towerbank set itself an ambitious challenge: to lead the integration between traditional banking and the crypto ecosystem. The goal was clear, but demanding: to create an app that would offer users the agility and freedom of the crypto world with the security and support of a large bank. All on a single platform, in a single account, in both dollars and cryptocurrencies.
This challenge demanded not only technological innovation, but also a powerful brand storytelling and coherent and able to connect with a new generation of financial users.
Project Marketing, communication and design strategy
To give life to this ambitious project, from our digital agency, Taypei by NATEEVOWe developed a comprehensive marketing, communication and design strategy, understanding that it was not simply a matter of launching an app, but of creating a new category within the financial system.
The starting point was the definition of the Brand Foundations and the construction of a solid narrative and storytelling that clearly communicated the brand's value proposition. Ikigii's key attributes were identified, which became the creative basis for the development of all communication pieces and were adapted to each country's environment.

Every decision, from the naming to the visual identity, was designed to reflect this duality between technological innovation and banking trust.
One of the major challenges of the project was the adaptation to each country and each target. As this is a global initiative, it was essential to adjust the messages developed from the Brand Foundations to the different countries and contexts where Ikigii would have a presence, thus ensuring effective and relevant communication in each market.
Results Towerbank, a leader in banking innovation
Last April, Towerbank officially presented Ikigii during the Panama Blockchain WeekThe event marked a turning point in the financial history of the country and the region. During the event, the Mayor's Office of Panama signed a historic agreement with Towerbank that will enable citizens to paying taxes with cryptocurrencies through Towerbank, reducing the cost of commissions for citizens to 0$.
A move that positions Towerbank as a benchmark in the transformation of the financial system globally and positions Panama as the main Hub of innovation in crypto and Blockchain technology worldwide.
